We specialize in custom designer wedding gowns, bold suits and unique garments for special events. But I am going to let the photos to do the talking when you hit up the gallery on this site. My keen eye for detail and commitment to achieving absolute perfection has been my key strength in the industry since I have been in it, to all my clients. Clients who can attest to the level of professionalism and quality of care I give to each and every project I tackle.

This level of skill did not come out of thin air. I have had tremendous passion for design since I was very young. I entered the industry with nothing but a prayer and a belief in myself and worked very hard over the years to build my skill. With years of experience working for designers in and around South Africa, I decided to go solo in 2016 with Ricky Couture. It has been one of the most fulfilling and daunting experiences of my life. With each new client over the years, I have grown to build a reputable brand that I am proud of. The baby that was Ricky Couture though, had changed and morphed into something much bigger than myself when I started to love my business more than just a business but as the son I always wanted.

Hence the name, Erique Contemporary Designs. This has changed my perspective and I have grown more confident in my vision with numerous support from close friends and family members.

Thereby launching what is now the website you are reading here today. Erique Contemporary Designs is a culmination of a new ethos.
